At EL-THOMP POLYTECHNIC, our primary students of interest are those who may have had challenges making the transition from secondary to tertiary education. It is our mission to provide integrated, innovative, interactive, cutting-edge education with a focus on academic excellence and Christian spiritual engagement.
Academics
EL-THOMP Polytechnic, Nigeria shall strive to discover the academic potential of an individual and establish it on the wheel of progress for the promotion and sustenance of positive academic self-concept through counseling, accredited curriculum content development and implementation procedures.
Culture
The rich cultural heritage and the abundant natural resources of Nigeria shall be deployed as complementary elements in curriculum implementation strategies for satisfactory performance in competitive examinations and economic self-reliance.
Sustainability
The knowledge base of the Graduand shall be modeled for environmental protection awareness, sustainability of natural resources and for further education in the overall benefit of the larger society.
The Polytechnic
To achieve this objective, EL-THOMP POLYTECHNIC, Nigeria employs a two-pronged methodology that presents a holistic, integrated approach to the intellectual and spiritual well-being of the student. This is encapsulated in our curricula and is distilled into the programs and courses we offer. Working in concert with students, parents, stakeholders, international and local partners, EL-THOMP POLYTECHNIC shall graduate students who are globally competitive. EL-THOMP students will possess the qualifications, skill set and technological know-how that equips them to pursue immediate and long term goals within and outside the shores of Nigeria, and the African continent; students will also be capable of undertaking self-employment through skills acquired during the program.
